“Living Gallery” installation
“Living Gallery” is an immersive installation created by Live Slow Collective, a collaboration between myself and Jack Morgan, integrating projection, animation, and painting. The project explores the idea of bringing a gallery to life through projection mapping, where animated visuals are mapped directly onto my original paintings within a gallery-like environment. Through this process, the paintings shift from static objects into moving, surreal compositions. Forms within the work begin to morph and animate, blurring the line between what is physically present and what is projected. This creates a layered viewing experience that invites the audience to question perception and take a second look at what is real and what is illusion. The installation debuted at Off the Grid festival, where it functioned as both an exhibition and an immersive environment.
